Devon loves the lights on his Toy Story shoes!
When I was surfing the net for Toy Story clothes for my great-grandson Devon Jacob I remembered that he needed new shoes so I just had to buy him these lighted tennies. Not only are they navy and white as the description states they have touches of red yellow and green too. I think they're adorable and so "little boyish." That kid has ideas of his own though and calls them his "big boy shoes." Kids--gotta love them!
I bought Toddler Boys' Toy Story Athletic Shoes - Navy/White because Devon loves the Toy Story movies because I think they're attractive and also for the comfort factor. I know he'll be comfortable in them since they have an adjustable strap padded tongue and collar and a cushioned insole. And his mother will appreciate that they also have non-marking soles...making her job a bit easier.
It was the Fifth of July when Mikki phoned to tell me the gifts had arrived. As Devon came to the phone to talk to Grammy I heard her tell him to thank me for the shoes. He hurriedly repeated her exact words and then rushed into a babble about "fireworks...purple fireworks...orange fireworks..." He was jabbering with such excitement I could barely understand him but i got the message: He loved the fireworks at the park the day before. I had to laugh at the way he pronounced "orange." Too-ooo cute and very heart-warming.
Even though Devon was more interested in fireworks than in his new shoes at that moment I know he loves them because Mikki told me he wanted to sleep in them. Aren't kids great fun?
I highly recommend kids and these shoes.
